From Saving Coins to Saving the Day
Join the MoneyBuddy Lab – where kids become Cadets on real-life missions that build money smarts, character, and confidence.

More Than Just Coins...
At MoneyBuddy Lab, we believe that being truly rich means more than just counting coins. It's about learning responsibility, building empathy, and taking action in the real world.
We create fun, hands-on missions that teach kids aged 7–12 three powerful life pillars:

Coin Sense
(Financial Literacy)

Earth Wise
(Nature & Wellbeing)

Hero Heart
(Character & Mindset)
Guided by our cheeky mascot Kobby and the wise coinbox SirKoin, kids become Coin Cadets — learning how to save, give, plan, and grow… one mission at a time.
And when they join the Lab, they’re not just getting a box — they’re joining a movement. Every cadet becomes part of the MoneyBuddy Clubhouse, an exclusive member zone where learning goes beyond the mission cards, and real-world challenges become meaningful adventures
Because schools teach math — but we teach what makes life truly rich.

The Sneak Peek!

Mission 1
Spend It Like You Mean it

Imagine you just found RM10 in your pocket. Lucky you! Now go on a mini shopping quest, at the mall, online shopping… even Mummy’s wishlist counts.
Pick something you’d love to buy. Then ask yourself:
- Why that thing?
- Will it help you grow smarter, kinder, or cooler in any way?
- How would it make you feel?
Draw it or write it out like a secret Cadet shopping note.
You just made money mean something more.
Mission 2
Operation Plant Impossible

Time to invent a plant that changes the world. Yup, you’re the creator now.
Your mission:
- Design a plant that helps people live better
- What does it look like? Weird leaves? Glowing roots?
- What’s its superpower?
- Where does it grow?
- What’s its name? (Make it so cool a scientist might faint)
Grab your journal or any paper. Draw it. Label it.
Brag about it. Snap a pic and save it in your Cadet log,
this could be a legendary species.
You just planted the seed of change, Cadet. Nice.
About The Team
MoneyBuddy Lab was co-created by a dad and his 10-year-old son — blending real-life parenting, finance, and fun.

Duncan Ho
Founder, ex-finance industry leader turned mission-driven dad. Passionate about helping families build real value at home

Ethan Ho
Chief of Program (Age 10). Oversees mission ideas, approves final designs, and ensures fun factor is always above 80%. Known for vetoing anything "boring."

SirKoin
The wise and slightly grumpy coin box who's seen it all. SirKoin keeps Kobby in check and drops nuggets of life wisdom when it counts. Think of him as the cranky grand-mentor every cadet needs.

Kobby
Your cheeky pocket-sized guide to all things coin and chaos. Kobby's curious, full of ideas (some good, some hilariously bad), and always the first to jump into action — even if he doesn't fully understand the plan.
